Be a great decision-maker

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions... most important part of any successful business

What was the outcome of the last important decision you made? Failure or Success? Do you know people feel pain from losses much more acutely than they feel pleasure from gains of the same size?

You have made thousands of business decisions in your career. Most of them, you likely don’t remember. But you do remember the one that turned into a large monetary reward or a huge personal opportunity? How exciting was that? Remember one of them that cost you thousands of dollars or weeks of time? How painful was that? We all have those stories of success and failure when it comes to critical decisions and that’s what I do. I help you make decisions THAT matter.

Making good decisions is the critical aspect of every successful business. I provide a framework for decision-making using simple-to-follow, proven principles. The framework helps you to understand resources and goals. Resources are people, time, and money. And the goals that your decisions fit into are; increase revenue or profits, lower costs, add/subtract employees, increase team knowledge, and maintain morale/culture, Those are the things that are essential in your business.

EVERYTHING in your business is driven by the three resources and five goals. Whether you’re building a new product/service or growing an existing one you should be taking them into consideration when making every decision.

I have spent 31+ years starting, marketing, failing, and succeeding in B2B and B2C environments. I have direct experience with both good and bad decisions and will happily share those experiences with you or your team.

Here are four ways you can learn from my bad decisions or as others might say “knowledge and experience”. I have arranged these in order, from those that require the least investment to those that require the most.

1. Get the Guide. Download my free decision guide for business owners.  go here.

2. Join my Mastermind Group. We have a group of CEO’s who are all GREAT humans operating companies that are doing $1M+ (annual revenue) that meet monthly. Go here to send me a message.

3. Search my site. Between posts from myself and contributors, this site has over 200 articles and videos. Chances are, we have already addressed your question or issue at some point. Here is a link to videos of interviews with experts on different subjects, here is the link to short question videos and of course, the blog is here.

4. Book me as a speaker. I have been speaking publicly for more than 7 years and have been speaking for over 50 years. I have hosted over 150 Startup Grind events and I have hosted events for corporations and meetups. Here is a link to my speakers page. If you have an event you would like me to consider, please email me with as many details as you have and I will get back to you right away.

5. Have a 1-hour talk. I will be happy to hop on a one-hour zoom call to help you with a strategic decision or problem. You can schedule a time here. (It costs $200). I will gather information before the call so the hour is productive.

6. Hire me to help. I have 2-3 clients at a time and work with them on a retainer basis. Retainers range from $2,500-$12,000 per month based on the type of work and time commitment. If you think I can add the most value for you with one-on-one time with you and your team, lets talk, email me or text/call me 206 354 8751.

If you have something else in mind, feel free to leave me a message below. I would be happy to talk with you.

Send me an email and let’s see how I can help.

What Clients have said about Mike

I have been working with Mike for over 6 months and he has saved me a ton of time and was also able to make some great introductions to two people who have been very helpful in getting my SaaS product off the ground. His thoughfulness and genorsity is not to be overlooked.

Dennis

Just met Mike at his “Make Your Startup or Business Idea a Reality” workshop and was totally impressed by him. He brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, energy and fun to his presentations. It’s clear that he loves what he’s doing. He was also quite generous in giving me better than 20 minutes of one on one time to help me understand the “cost of customer acquisition” issue. If you can work with him you should!
